Urban Fox & Northern Lights Tour

Join Peter in an intimate (small) group setting, as you search for and photograph urban foxes in a winter setting as the foxes prepare for their breeding season. This tour is designed to chase one or two really unique photos (the type that win photo contests and wow people). Whitehorse, in Northern Canada, is home to a dozen urban fox families. Our workshop is based around searching for urban foxes during their breeding season. We are looking for really rare images that are not often captured.
Examples:
- Urban foxes under Northern Lights,
- Urban foxes in -30ºC temperatures,
- Urban foxes mating.
We will work with what the foxes give us and chase something special.
Urban foxes can be hard to find and are prone to accidents with vehicles, so we are combining our Urban Fox tour with Northern Lights tours. If we have some good Northern Lights and clear skies, then we will head out in search of some unique and rarely seen Northern Light photos. Most of our photography will be done in the evenings and at night, when the foxes are active and the Northern Lights come out to play.
We have designed this course for only 2 clients. This gives us the best chance of interacting with foxes, without being a disturbance to them and their mating process. This will also give our clients the best opportunity to get really unique imagery. This limited group number also gives Peter an opportunity to really review and evaluate your work and teach you how to improve. The one on one day sessions will cover all your needs, from teaching you how to tell stories, to how to edit and market your images and business.
